About me

I am a features reporter at CQ Roll Call, covering the people and personalities behind some of the biggest stories of the day. I also cover congressional trends, ethics and accountability in Congress and news about congressional staffers. I also cover the House Administration Committee, the Senate Rules and Administration Committee and the House Ethics Committee. I’m particularly interested in efforts to modernize Congress, legislative branch operations and women and minority groups in Congress.

I am currently part of the National Press Foundation’s Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowship.

I graduated from American University in May 2023 where I studied Journalism and Political Science. While at American, I was the Editor-in-Chief of The Eagle, AU’s award-winning student-run newspaper. I managed and oversaw the operations of 130 staff members and led the paper to receive the College Media Association’s Apple Award for Best Newspaper in 2023, in addition to several other national and local awards. As an editor, I oversaw major investigations exposing the university’s non-compliance with federal Title IX laws and my university’s distribution of counterfeit KN95 masks during the coronavirus pandemic, a story that received national attention.
